Learn how to brew kombucha!

Come learn how easy it is to brew your own kombucha!

Known as the “Immortal Health Elixir” by the Chinese and originating in the Far East around 2,000 years ago, kombucha is a fermented beverage made with black tea and sugar that’s used as a functional, probiotic food . It contains a colony of bacteria and yeast that are responsible for initiating the fermentation process once combined with sugar.

Generally sold for $3 to $5 a bottle at health food stores and supermarkets, home-brewing your own kombucha is a less-expensive route that is also fun to do!

NOTE: If I have enough SCOBYs at the time of the event, guests will be able to take one home for a nominal fee so they can start brewing their own kombucha right away.
