Meet And Greet With Your Local Farmers

Sat Feb 23 at 2 PM - 4 PM EST
Norfolk Public Library, Main Street, Norfolk, MA, USA

Join us at this regional Gathering where you will meet local farmers, learn about organic farming practices, and how CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) shares help small farms.  Many CSAs fill up quickly, so now is actually the time to start thinking about where you're going to get your summer veggies from!

Even if you already have your CSA lined up, come hear from Richard Robinson, a representative from NOFA (Northest Organic Farming Association), who will present information about organic farming and the importance of CSAs .

There will also be a farmer from Tree House Farm who sells pasture-raised chicken. She will be talking about rotational grazing and why it's so important for healthy animals, consumers, farmers, and the environment. Her farm also creates wool-based home goods and toys.

Have a chance to get to know farmers from 6 area organic farms.

This is a family-friendly event. Bring the kids for story time and crafts!

This event is open to the public, so please share with anyone who may be interested.
